The thymus dependents lymphocytes (T cells) are the largest number of lymphocytes, featuers the most complex kind of immune cells. For the study of the system of rabbit in the gastrointestinal tract intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs, intraepithelial lymphocytes), CD4+T cells and CD8+T cells distribution location and distribution, this experiment by histology and immunohistochemical technique, about 30 different age groups (youth, youth, elderly group) were investigated in the gastrointestinal tract IEL, CD4+T cells and CD8+T cells in detail system of observation and quantitative research. The results showed in the gastrointestinal tract of the rabbit (1) IEL assumes the circular or elliptic, large, round nucleus, deep color, is located at the base of absorbing cell, the minority is located in the nuclear area and nuclear above. base of absorbing cell, the minority is located in the nuclear area and nuclear above. In addition to its distribution in the stomach is rarely and scattered, from the duodenum in turn increase gradually, back to the ileum (except the elderly group is significantly below jejunum ileum (P<0.05)), back into the large intestine, and in accordance with the order of the colon, caecum and rectum showed a trend of gradually reduced. In addition, In addition, the number of IEL showed a trend of increasing with the increasing of age. (2) CD4+T cells were round or oval, mainly distributed in the lamina, and less in the intestinal crypt. The number of CD4+T cells in the gastric glands was significantly higher than that in the gastric fundus. From the duodenum in order to gradually increase, to the most ileum, and in accordance with the order of the appendix, colon and ileum showed a gradual decrease trend. In addition, CD4+T cells increases with the growth of the age distribution density, from the peak to the youth, with its aging distribution density is also reduced. (3) The shape of CD8+T cells was similar to CD4+T, diffused distribution in the lamina propria of stomach, small intestine and large intestine, less in the crypt. The distribution density of CD8+T cells in the stomach, small intestine and large intestine were not significant. The number of CD8+T cells in pubertal group was higher than that in young group and old age group, and the growth of CD8+T cells in rabbits showed a trend of increasing first and then descending with age. From the stomach and small intestine to large intestine, the distribution density of CD8+T cells showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. These results suggested that the small intestine may be the main site of mucosal immune induction and next in stomach and large intestine. This result laid the foundation for further research on the induction of mucosal immunity and the study of oral vaccine.
