| Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of “fu zheng xiao liu fang” intreatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with GP chemotherapy,with the aim to provide basis for the mechanism of Chinese herb and clinical treatment.Methods:60patients with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into two groups. TheChinese herbal compound and Western medicine therapy group (30cases) was treated with“fu zheng xiao liu fang” with GP chemotherapy, and the control group (30cases) wastreated with chemotherapy alone. The clinical effect were observed after two periods oftreatment. Results: After two periods of treatment,the subjective symptoms、the changes ofimmune function and adverse reaction after treatment and Comparison of peripheral blood,quality of life and the changes of tumor markers (CEA) were significantly improved in thetreated group, better than in the control one.But there was no difference between twogroups on the size of focus,the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree were slighter in thetreated group than in the controlone.Conclusion:“fu zheng xiao liu fang” with GPchemotherapy can increase the clinical curative effect of chemotherapy, reduce the adversereaction of chemotherapy and improve the patients quality of life. |
