| Objective To compare the mid-long term effects of 110℃ pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization and pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization at room temperature in the treatment for liver hemangiomas. Methods A total of 48 patients with liver hemangiomas preparing for interventional therapy were chosen. They were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=24) with 110 ℃pingyangmycin-lipiodol intra-aryerial chemoembolization and the control group(n=24) with pingyangmycin-lipiodol intra-aryerial chemoembolization at room temperature. All the patients were follow-up 6 months—5 years after operation, to observe the changes of tumor volume and clinical symptoms. Results The efficacy rates of the experimental group was 73.68%,92.11%,92.31%after operation of 6 months—1 years,1—3 years, 3—5 years. and the control group was 62.50%,81.25%,84.62% respectively, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), the decreased rates of experimental group with long term follow-up was(65.96±25.24)%,(81.38±20.68)%,(90.12±19.59)%,,and the control group was(50.15 ± 24.47)%,( 67.69 ± 26.02)%,( 77.58 ± 25.18)% respectively, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effects of 110 ℃pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization for liver hemangiomas are better than that of pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization at room temperature. |
