Purpose:Zisheng decoction embodies the treated method of invigorating spleen for eliminating dampness. The aim of this study was to investigate Zisheng decoction’s clinical curative effect on spleen deficiency and stagnation of dampness type in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). The observation was focused on the effect of Zisheng decoction on the human’s serum triglyceride. The same time,to verify the pathogenesis of NAFLD is spleen deficiency and stagnation of dampness, and to explore new and effective means to lay the foundation for the treatment of NAFLD.Method:Choosing 30 patients who meeting the inclusion criteria, using a randomized grouping method, divided into two group, the treatment group and the control group. There’s 15 cases in each group. Two groups of patients were treated with the same basic therapy (treatment period forbids the use of any other lipid-lowering drugs). The treatment group were treated with Zisheng decoction,200ml each time, two times a day. The total course of treatment was 3 months, after the end of the observation treatment, to count the blood lipids, serum liver enzymes, and clinical symptoms, and to make evaluatoin.Result:①The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 86.7%and 60.0%,showde us that the treatment group was better than the the control group. The difference in the total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).②CAompared with before treatment, the total score of both groups were significantly decreased. The treatment group’s efficiency of TCM syndrome was 93.3%, better than the control group’s 66.7%,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P <0.05).③Compared with before treatment, the clinical symptom scores of two groups were lower, the difference of the two groups before and after treatment was significant (P<0.05); And the treatment group in improving patients with rib discomfort, heavy in the head and body, lassitude, anorexia and other aspects of the effect is more obvious. ④Compared with before treatment,ALT and AST of two groups were lower, the two groups’before and after treatment difference was significant (P<0.05). The total efficiency of the treatment group was 84.62%, better than the control group’s 61.54%, the difference in serum hepatic enzymes was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05).⑤Compared with before treatment, the blood lipids (TG, TC, LDL-C) of two groups were lower, and HDL-C was higher, the two groups before and after treatment difference was significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.67%, while the control group was 60%.There was significant differences in blood lipid between the two groups (P< 0.05). ⑥About drug safety, the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P> 0.05), described the subject of traditional Chinese medicine is safe. Conclusion:Zisheng decoction being used in treating spleen deficiency and stagnation of dampness type in patients with NAFLD can achieve good therapeutic effect.Zisheng decoction can regulate blood lipid, improve clinical symptoms, reduce liver enzyme, and have no significant adverse reactions. As one of the representative prescription of invigorating spleen and eliminating dampness, Zisheng decoction is one of the effective methods in the treatment of NAFLD.Showed us that on the basis of syndrome differentiation and treatment, "ancient" can be used in the treatment of modern diseases.
