This article from the perspective of cultural studies costumes, the use of iconography, history, folklore, aesthetics, psychology and other interdisciplinary research methods, on the cultural aspects of Chu’s interpretation of dress.The first part is an introduction. To tell the Reason for introducing the topic, and review the academic dress of the Chu Research related issues. Explained with various viewpoints, "Chu Regions", "Chu Culture", "clothing", "the costume culture" and so on, to define this object of study and research the specific time and space range.The second part data interpretation the clothing, mainly for the Masan Tomb NO.1 and the Mawangdui Tomb NO.1 unearthed Mawangdui summarize the information and sort clothing. I extracted from the archaeological reports associated with the clothing material, summarized as clothing in kind, making people like, character images, written records in four areas, one by one of interpretation.The third part discusses the basic shape of Chu clothing. This part is retrospective of Chu origin of textile technology, and later Chu apparel fabrics and ornamentation types. Then, Ma Shan Tomb of clothing materials and the comparison Mawangdui Tomb, reference previous research results, combined with relevant historical documents, from the top, lower part, socks, shoes, accessories, Chu summarized in four aspects The basic shape to dress.The fourth part is integrated on the dress culture of Chu. The main conclusion of previous research paper is based on Chu’s interpretation of the cultural dress. This part of the dress culture of Chu to explore the background and factors derived to explain the social system they reflect, aesthetic sense and religion, and try to find the dress culture of Chu modern value for the development of cultural industries Chu apparel specific strategies.By the previous part of the discussion, the paper draws the following conclusion: that the two tombs owner of the tomb of the clothing worn shape reflected the aesthetic ideas of a particular class of fashion, and to some extent, reflects the social ideology of Chu.
