The questionnaire survey was selected in this study. In order to investigate800studentsof three university, weve used University Student’s Anger Emotion Inducing FactorsQuestionnaire, the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Short Scale and University Students’Anger Emotion Regulation Strategy Evaluation Questionnaire. The purposes of the researchare to investigate the influencing factors of the university students anger emotion regulationstrategies.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:First, by using the way of exploratory factor analysis the structure of the universitystudent’s anger inducing factors, including Self damaged,desire blocked, suffer setback,violate norms, is found.Second, analysis of reliability and validity of the new invention indicate that the newinvention is a reliable and valid scale.Third, by using the methods of analysis of variance and independent-sample T test, theresults indicate that demographic vairable can do some effects on university students angerand accommodation strategies. Grade of students make university students differentremarkably in threesub-dimensions of angry inducing factors. Gender, major discipline, gradeof students make university students different remarkably in some or a few dimensions ofaccommodation strategies sixsub-dimensions.Fourth, University students’ anger emotion inducing factors and personality traits affectthe accommodation strategies of anger emotion. Different personality of university students indifferent anger inducing factors adopt different emotion regulation strategies.With lowpsychoticism of students may more adopt situation selection in desire blocked,while in seeingothers behavior doesn’t conform to social norms, they may more adopt expressivesuppression;With low psychoticism and neuroticism of students in seeing others behaviordoesn’t conform to social norms, they may more adopt attention deployment and reappraisal;With low neuroticism and high extraversion of students in seeing others behavior doesn’tconform to social norms, they may more adopt situation modification; With low psychoticismand high extraversion of students when their value is under threat,they may more adopt socialsupport.
