With the economical development, people demand much more for the diversification of learning of the children. Recently, children’s latin dance has become the preference of many parents. Childhood is an important stage for the physical and psychological development, including their capacities of observation, memory and imitation. Everything they learn has a great influence on their future. As a result, Latin dance training for children is popular in China.However, the theoretical research on Latin training for childhood is limited. Most of teachers teach the children with their personal experience, aiming at instilling high-leveled techniques but ignoring the teaching principle of development in all-around way. In their teaching practice, there is absence of the proper teaching target and the optimization of the teaching content and choice of methods, as well as the feedback of teaching information.This thesis focuses on the teaching process of children’s latin dance with the methods of literature material method, questionnaire survey, expert interview, mathematical statistics in order to establish the solid theoretical and practice foundation of the optimization of the teaching process. By the exploration of the teaching information such as the teaching targets, contents, conditions and the interactions between teachers and students, the thesis get the conclusion with experiment that compared with the regular teaching process, the optimized teaching process can improve the efficiency effectively and is proved to be helpful to the all-around development of children.
