The communications between countries are getting more and moredynamic with profound development of globalization. And thecommunication of science and technology is a major part of thatprocess. Translation will definitely promote the development of thecommunication of science and technology. English for sciences andtechnology has become a research interest as a style of languageand translation for sciences and technology has attracted manyattentions since1970home and abroad.By translating this paper, the author tries to summarize thefeatures of English for sciences and technology and explore theskills and strategies of translation for sciences and technology.There are three parts. The first part is the original text ofthe paper The Effects of Teachers’ Motivational Strategies onLearners’ Motivation: A Controlled Investigation of SecondLanguage Acquisition, the second part is the translation of it andthe last part is the translation report on it.
