Zhou libo is a famous writer, translator and revolutionary fighter in the history ofChinese literature in the20th century. In the early1920s, he set foot on the road ofliterature and created a series of excellent literary works. From his first novel, manycritics began to study him and his works. Though the research on this aspect has obtainedgreat achievement, the systematic studies on the relationship between and Yan’anliterature and art are fewer. Starting with the interactive relationship between Zhou Liboand Yan’an literature and art, this thesis studies the relationship between Zhou Libo andYan’an literature and art in detail. Firstly, Zhou Libo went to Shanghai together withZhou Yang, living in simple and small room to continue his literature career. He thentook part in left-wing writers alliance and wrote articles to do propaganda for literatureand art popularization. Secondly, after the dissolution of left-wing writers alliance, thenation fell into the state of serious emergency. Zhou Libo went to Yan’an and taught inLu Xun art college where he created several short novels. Then he was participated in theYan’an literature and art symposium and listened to the “speech” of Mao Zedong.According to the “speech”, he made a deep self-examination and combined with actualsituation to constantly innovate himself. Thirdly, Zhou Libo tried to practice the spirit ofYan’an literature and art. He went to the countryside to look for a creative source,creating a serials of excellent works. Fourthly, He always adheres to the realistic creationmethod to create typical characters of workers, peasants and soldier. Besides, he studiedfarmers language and actively explored new forms of nation. Fifthly, he diligentlycultivated Hunan literature and art new generation and promoted the formation anddevelopment of “Flower tea”. Hunan young writers studied Zhou Libo and contributed tothe prosperity of Hunan literature. As a representative writer fulfilling Yan’an literature and art spirit, Zhou’s Yan’ an literature and art spirit influences the contemporary writersand literature in Hunan and the Hunan contemporary writers continue the spirit of Yan’anliterature and art by learning from Zhou. through the study of the relation between Zhouand Yan’an literature and art, it can also promote the studies on contemporary writers andYan’an literature and art, which provides a typical example for the contemporary literaryworld and it can also promotes the prosperity of contemporary literature.
