In recent years, people are becoming much more familiar with the word "Film Schedule", for the rapidly increasing industrialization process of movie. The selection of a movie’s schedule would have direct influence on box office. It will play a positive role in the whole movie to build the mature and sequential schedule mechanism. Through the long-term industry integration and escalation, there is a scientific and reasonable schedule mechanism having been established in American movie market; compared with the schedule mechanism in China, it is still in the exploration stage. However, the classification of movie category in different schedule is not clear; the polarization phenomenon is very serious that blockbuster has the good schedule and movies show in good schedule. Therefore, it has already become a significant problem to solve in the current movie market of China, how to build sequential schedule mechanism and make reasonable selection of schedule selection.According to the above problems, through the summary of the development status of movie industry, the market development status and the development of movie schedule in recent ten years; on the basis of making analysis and research on the overall situation and characteristics of schedule (with the sample of box office data2011-2013of Chinese movie market) in the current movie market, through the comparative research on the building characteristics of schedule mechanism in American movie market, the thesis makes in-depth analysis on the schedule selection in Chinese movie market and submits the effective strategies that would be suitable for schedule selection in Chinese movie market.
