Rawls’s Anti-desert Theory is the joint point to understand Rawls’s idea of justice, it is also the focus in Contemporary academia. Combined with the interpretation of Rawls’s thought, this paper investigates the related argument background, and trys to deepen some problems. In the introduction part of the thesis, I presented three kinds of critical representative views of this problem in the contemporary situation:Nozick focus on the anti-desert theory and personal ownership point, Sandel focus on Anti-desert theory and the abstract personal view, Cohen focus on Anti-desert theory and person’s responsibility. I will response this criticism in the third, fourth and fifth chapter. The first chapter of this thesis, I briefly summary the foundation idea of Rawls’s anti-desert theory. In the second chapter, this article comes with accidental and arbitrary of natural assets, from a moral point of view, these assets and hard working cannot be chips which people pursuit political and economic interests. The core of the third chapter is to response Nozick’s criticism with the help of the distribution of public assets as the natural endowment and the difference principle.what Rawls seen as common assets is the distribution nature, rather than assets itself, this will not bring the owning right as what Nozick criticized. The fourth chapter is to response Sandel’s criticism about abstract concept of individual human in virtue of rationality, equality, dignity, reason and so on. On the other hand, we draw conclusion that Rawls emphasizes the rational person. Two kinds of moral capacity emphasize the human equality, deepen the concept of equality of self- esteem. In the fifth chapter,I mainly talk about social cooperation and responsibility theory in response to Cohen. Rawls established the social system so that anyone not because he was in the distribution of natural aptitude in the accident status or social in the first position thanks or damaged, which leads to social responsibility, social establishment two principle to guarantee the citizen’s freedom and equality, social security distribution justice. In conclusion:implication of Rawls theory of rational and dignity, equality concept of moral, well ordered society ideal, together constitute a complete justice framework. The concern for human dignity and value of Rawls’s anti-desert theory and the social responsibility, deepen our understanding of the value of freedom and equality and justice.
