The Authenticity Protection And Development Of Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District In Yantai

As a basic principle of assessment and protection of cultural heritage, authenticity has been widely recognized and valued in domestic and international field of cultural heritage protection. As the important intermediate of our cultural heritage protection system, cultural relic-historic cultural district-historic cultural city, the historic cultural districts are connecting the city’s past to future, carrying the unique material remains, traditional culture, street life and spiritual connotations, which the social development and historical evolution left.Qishangsuocheng Historic Cultural District is one of the oldest districts in the city of Yantai. Under the background of facing exploitation, investigating the authenticity conservation status of such a major historic cultural district and exploring its future development direction is an important issue, which conforms to the social background and meets the needs of the neighborhood and the city’s protection and development.Based on analyzing the authenticity principle of historic cultural district in depth, this thesis tries to put forward the connotation and evaluation system of the authenticity of the historic cultural district. And then using this evaluation system as a framework, this thesis deeply analyses the current protection situation, the exiting problems and the improvement and development suggestions of the authenticity of Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District. Further, the writer thinks of the principles of the authenticity protection for historic cultural districts in our country. This thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction. This Chapter introduces the background, the study basis, the purpose and significance, as well as the content, ideas and concept of the research.Chapter Ⅱ:Research on the authenticity of the historic cultural district. This chapter introduces the proposition and development of the authenticity principle, and then tries to put forward the explanation and evaluation system of the historic cultural district’s authenticity, through analyzing the connotation and elements of the principle. And this is also the theoretical basis of the full text.Chapter Ⅲ:Investigation and analysis of the authenticity of Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District. By analyzing the survey results, this chapter introduces and evaluates the protection status of Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District’s authenticity, and puts forward the existing problems and their major causes of the authenticity’s protection status, combing with literature and field research. This is the practical basis of the thesis.Chapter Ⅳ:The improvement and development recommendations of protection status of the authenticity of Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District. Combined with the materials in Chapter III, this chapter proposes suggestions for improving the protection status of authenticity and developing Qishansuocheng Historic Cultural District, and reflections on the principles of the authenticity protection for historic cultural districts in our country.The last part is the conclusion. This part proposes the deficiencies and innovations of the article, and then the directions for future research prospects.
