As an important part of Chinese learning, Chinese extracurricular activity of Guangxi university for the foreign students enhance the Chinese learning, practical ability and the comprehensive quality of them.In the process of learning Chinese,Chinese extracurricular activity and Chinese teaching form the learning environment as a whole,create more practice opportunities and Chinese context. In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Chinese extracurricular activities should be worth to attract our attention. The analysis of this paper is based on the questionnaire survey of the extracurricular activities which took part in by the foreign students in Guangxi university, and the questions were designed about the Chinese extracurricular activities in Guangxi university, and the Chinese extracurricular activities are analyzed.The first part, the introduction, illustrated the topic of motivation and significance, researching methods and scope.The second part, started from the General situation of Chinese extracurricular activities which took part in by foreign students in Guangxi university, the activities of the organization and participation in the object, such as time, place, classifying, and described the questionnaire object, contents, steps, questionnaire design,explained the steps in the questionnaire.The third part, analysed and combed the results of the characteristics of the extracurricular activities for the Guangxi university foreign students.The fourth part, analysed the problems in the activities, found the reasons of the problems, and put forward to improvement measures for the extracurricular activities.Specific to regional characteristics that face up to the southeast Asia, Chinese extracurricular activities for international students in Guangxi university has carried out the international week, the Chinese talent contest and a series of characteristic Chinese extracurricular activities.They can provide the Chinese context for the foreign students’language acquisition; Relieve the students’ culture shock; Correct the students language errors; Strengthen students’ communicative ability. To find the openness of the object, organizers to participate in the activities should be pay attention, including the organizers, participants, the participants in activity environment three perspectives. The participants have a certain autonomy. The extracurricular activities for the students are in the diversity of types, they have flexible way, have fun activity Settings.The activities set including strengthen professional practice ability, and cultivate students interests and hobbies, etc.The Chinese extracurricular activities for the Guangxi university students are the effective extension and complement of classroom teaching, enrich the teaching methods; help to expand classroom teaching content; and enhance the effect of classroom teaching; help to the mutual promotion of Chinese classroom teaching and extracurricular activities. In the short term,they can help students to improve the level of Chinese language, enhance Chinese communication skills; enhance the affection between students and students, teachers and students; effectively loosen body and mind, help the foreign students understand the actual situation of China. From a long-term perspective, the activities can improve the Chinese classroom teaching efficiency and quality, we will deepen reform of the foreign student Chinese education teaching; to develop students comprehensive quality, and cultivate students’ healthy psychological state, enhance their independence and creativity.
