Components-Teaching Method, as the name suggests,is the teaching method by using Chinese characters components instead of stroke or the whole word to teach Chinese characters directly. The experiment and research results of Cangzhou Experimental Primary School in Hebei province show that the use of components for teaching is feasible and effective at the primary stage of Chinese characters teaching. So this method can also be used to solve the problem which Chinese characters are both hard to teach and learn in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In the origin and the development of more than thirty years, Components-Teaching Method’ positive influence on Chinese character teaching to foreigners is getting approval increasingly from scholars and front-line teachers.Many scholars have been separated Chinese characters based on different purposes and different object of study. But due to the differences in separation principles and substances, the separation results will be quite different. Although the state promulgated the GF0014-2009Specification of Common Modern Chinese Character Components and Component Names to guide Chinese character component separation, but the file still has considerable controversies in the area of expertise. So far, there is still no unified standard. It is very bad for component teaching practice.Basing on the previous separation experience and research results,the paper advance a new separation principles which with both previous advantages and personal characteristics. And use it as a guide,the paper separate the2,905Chinese characters in the Chinese Characters of HSK Graded Outline. The separation results will be compared with the formers. With the hope that there will be help on Chinese character teaching to foreigners.
