Language and culture are interdependent, it is an integral whole. To learn alanguage, in addition to understand the society and the people of that country, toknow more about their culture, customs and way of thinking. Language is the carrierof culture, cultural differences also caused the language differences. In teachingChinese as a foreign language, cultural differences to become an obstacle to theforeign students learn and use Chinese, therefore, how to deal with culturaldifferences in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become a focus in the studyof scholars. At present, the study of cultural differences, especially the Chinese andwestern cultural differences have fruitful results. But the myanmar and othersoutheast Asian countries and China cultural differences, and study with the Chineseas a foreign language classroom teaching strategies of related articles were rare. Thisarticle from the customs and habits, values, religious culture from three aspects,analyzes the myanmar differences in culture and Chinese culture, discussed thedifference influence on Burma’s foreign students learn Chinese, put forward someteaching strategies to guide the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. Full text isdivided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly explains the research the reasonand significance, research status and research methods.The second chapter mainly introduces the teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage and cross-cultural consciousness and the concept of second languageacquisition.The third chapter the concept of culture and the relationship between languageand culture are simply analyzed.The fourth chapter discussed from two aspects of customs and religious culturein cultural differences impact on the Burmese foreign students Chinese languageacquisition.The fifth chapter puts forward the response to the sino-burmese cultural difference strategy of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chapter vi conclusion part of this article research innovation, proposed tocontinue to study the related problems.
