In recent years, as people’s access to information is more diversified, makingthe museums facing enormous challenges, they are need to improve its image in orderto better serve the society. Built the museum visual identity system that logo is thecore of it, is an important means to improve its image.Museum logo design lead the core position of the visual identity system, It is notyet carried out research on the museum logo in our country. Meanwhile, there aresome problems of many museum’s visual identity system, construction of the visualidentity system of museums is not theoretical.This thesis bases on museum theory, references the theory of art design, focuseson museum logo. Through the classification, analysis and comparative of66museumslogos, and then summed up the distinctive features of museum logo of China, andconsiders that domestic and foreign museum logos have no major differences in theapplication of design elements. And considers cultural principles of museum logodesign should pay special attention.Meanwhile, Through theoretical analysis of the visual image of the museumsystem, pointi out some of the existing problems of the visual identity system of ourcountry and propose solutions, and to explore new media, especially the importanceof the network in the spread of visual identity system of the museum.Excellent museum logo and visual identity system can improve museum’s image,so that make the museum better serve the society and spiritual and cultural life of thepeople. |
