In the university English writing teaching in China, there has been such problems as the shortage of teachers and the antiquated teaching model."College English Curriculum Requirements" puts forward clearly, modern information technology should be employed to improve teaching effect, making the English teaching unrestricted by time and place.Under this background, the use of modern information technology has a very strong practical significance to improve the teaching effect in English writing teaching in China.This paper first introduces the background and significance of the study and the related research status at home and abroad. According to the theory of constructivism, formative assessment theory and humanism theory, in view of the present situation of our university English writing teaching, a real-time multiply interactive writing teaching model based on automatic essay scoring system is designed. In order to better implement the teaching model, this paper puts forward the design of network teaching platform. After that, the teaching model was applied to the teaching practice, and the research data was collected and analyzed.This paper adopts the method of action research. Based on the constructivism theory, formative assessment theory and humanistic theory, this paper constructs the teaching model of English writing based on AES, applies this model to experimental teaching and research, and finally draws the conclusion.of the experiment. Experimental results showed, this teaching model can effectively improve the writing ability of college students, and has a significant positive impact on the students’syntactic ability, which is a reference to the reform of college English writing teaching in China.
