This report is based on the translation of ROLLO IN PARIS, a novel of Jacob Abbott’s series of novel—ROLLO’S TOUR IN EUROPE. The novel includes eleven chapters in total, which mainly records the tour of Rollo’s family in Paris.According to the different content in the novel, the author chose Semantic Translation Theory and Communicative Translation Theory to match them. Apart from theories, many translation skills are used in the process.
