Chinese ancient mythology is the product of ancient people’s imagination and fantasy of unexplained things around. It is the embodiment of the ancient muddled ideas beginning and ancient civilization. Although it is long, but not out of date. Chinese ancient mythology still has strong implications for teaching, which expresses the tragic implication, lofty, naive materialism, especially in foreign language teaching. Chinese ancient hero myth emphasis the heroic spirit which is struggle between hero and nature meanwhile stress the Firm belief in victory.Through the Chinese mythology teaching, international students can understand the Chinese people spirit which refuse to be cowed and great courage to conquer nature.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss China ancient hero mythology teaching culture teaching in TCFL. The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and research significance, purpose and research methods; the second chapter is the myth States, including the concept of myth, China ancient myths, ancient myth characteristics Chinese classification; the third chapter discusses The teaching function of the ancient myth:such as cultivating students aesthetic ability, training students to understand the social life at that time and so on; the fourth chapter is the analysis of three cases of heroes myths storiesI aim to make students aware that Chinese ancient mythical hero brave and One’s resolve is national strength which promotes the Chinese culture to develop for thousands of years continuously.
