Chinese pronunciation is the basis of primary comprehensive Chinesecurriculum and it is also the most important communication tool of socialising.Learners’s grasp of Chinese pronnciation directly determines the quality oftheir assessments and whether they can finish their coucesework andassignments in required time. What is more is that their skils of pronounciaionalso results in whether they can interact with Chinese effectively.Mongolia is China’s neighboring country.Owing to the rapiddevelopment of Chinese economy,China attracts a lot of students in Mongolia.More and more Mongolian students come to China to learn Chinese,.However,the age of them is not always the same. A few students come to China topursue higher education in university,there is also a group of students who aresignificantly younger with ages around1314years old.They are sent by theirparents to China to learn Chinese language and some of the Mongolianoverseas students are only six or seven years old. Different age levelsdetermine the distinct ways of learning and teaching. This should be drawnattention in the teaching acitvities.The traditional modes and methods of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage are not suitable for junior students.Teachers should makeimprovement in the old patterns and methods of teaching foreign languages inorder to make them fit for differnet paritcualr age level of Mongolianstudents.Moreover, lower age of Mongolian students’ learning motivationsand learning attitudes are obviously different form those of undergraduateand graduate students. Most of Mongolians who has higher educationbackgrounds are positively and long-termly motivated.They generally have apositive learning attitude.Contrarily quite a number of students in youngerage are foreced by their parents to learn Chinese.Therefore, by contrast their learning motivations are weaker and they are also relatively immaturementally,these subjective or subjective reasons will affect their learning ofChinese. Meanwhile the important infulence of emotions should also berecognized in teahing Chinese pronouciation.In the teaching process,teachers need to close schools and students withthe actual situation, select the appropriate mode of teaching and teachingmethods, and to make certain improvements to their shortcomings. Classroomtime is limited, teachers must hold extra time to organize one ofExtracurricular Activities also an effective way to improve the level of studentphonetic.This thesis consists of introduction、text and conclusion. The first partgives an introduction to the principles and patterns of Chinese phoneticteaching; the second part comprehensively analyses the existing problems inteaching and misundering in learning. The third part aims at providingeffecitive solutions to the problems mentioned in the second part.
