In recent years,the close economic and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand have increased the language demand between the two countries.During the nearly 100 years of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Thailand,the scope of the promotion of Chinese has become wider and wider,and the scale and level of Chinese teaching are very obvious,but there are also many problems.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Thailand,Chinese teachers are totally in a "free" state.The so-called "freedom" includes the formulation of syllabus,the setting of teaching objectives,the arrangement of teaching contents and examinations.In addition to students' classes and Chinese class hours are fixed arrangements in schools,other teaching activities related to Chinese should be considered by Chinese teachers.In more than 20 primary and secondary schools under the cooperation of Guangxi University and Confucius Institute,the biggest characteristic of Chinese teacher interns is that they change every semester.Due to the characteristics of fast replacement time and short cycle of teachers,the problem of "what to teach" is more prominent.The choice of teaching content will be repeated,and teaching methods will be constantly changing because of different teachers.Teaching objectives and contents are the core of the teaching process.Under such circumstances,how Chinese teachers set up Chinese courses,formulate teaching objectives and arrange teaching contents worth discussing;according to different schools and teaching objects,the research work on the curriculum design of the elementary comprehensive course of Chinese as a foreign language is relatively few and has not been fully spread out,and the purpose of this paper arises from this.In addition to the preface and conclusion,this paper is mainly divided into four parts: The first part mainly analyses the theoretical basis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the task and content of the elementary Chinese comprehensive course,and discusses the principles of curriculum design in Thailand.The second part is a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and problems of Thai Chinese comprehensive course,followed by a specific survey of the Chinese elementary course in Suphan Buri Thungfaekphitthayakhom School.In the third part,taking the practice of elementary Chinese course in Thungfaekphitthayakhom School of Thailand as an example,aiming at the problem of "what to teach",the author puts forward a set of content plan of elementary Chinese comprehensive course for senior one students,and summarizes some problems in the practice of elementary Chinese comprehensive course.Chapter IV mainly puts forward the problems existing in schools,students and teachers,the corresponding solutions and prospects among different subjects of Chinese comprehensive course in Tongfei Middle School.It is hoped that it can improve the teaching quality of elementary Chinese comprehensive course and provide some references for Chinese teachers who are going to Thailand later.
