Phonetic is the basis of every language learning process. Phonetic is the first andmost important stage of learning Chinese language. It’s very meaningful for foreignersto learn the Chinese, and this will affect their future study of Chinese language. Inrecent years, although there is some analysis about the learning process of Chineselanguage made by Russian students, it still needs more and more strategies.Thereforethe article focuses on a research according to the Russian students from LiaoningUniversity, from the research we conclude that most Russian students like to use therules of Russian pronunciation instead of Chinese. The most errors made by them areaffected by their mother tongue. Therefore, through comparison of Russian andChinese phonetic system, combined with the survey of Russian students coming fromChinese International Education Institute of Liaoning University, we can analyze theirChinese phonetic acquisition, including initial consonant, vowel and tone errors, fromthe impact of negative transfer of mother tongue and the target language negativetransfer, we can analyze the causes of errors made by them, and the paper can putforward some teaching suggestions and strategies from the improvement of teachingmethods, teachers’ skills, teaching materials. I hope these will be helpful and inspiringto the phonetics teaching later.
