The Study And Applications On Secular Character Of Dunhuang Chinese Manuscripts In The Gui-Yi-Jun Period

Dunhuang manuscripts, with a history of more than700years, consisted of more than50,000volumes, which was rich in both contents and types. Only if we thoroughly understood those words can we comprehend the text in history and in reality.The research object of this thesis is the France collection of Dunhuang manuscripts. The author chose24documents from this collection which dated from AD848to AD1037years. The author studies the secular characters using the screenshots of Dunhuang manuscripts in brief classification、historical levels、word variety and applications, in order to make a preliminary exploration about the secular characters situation of Dunhuang manuscripts during the Gui-Yi-Jun period.
