Translation Project For UK Renewable Energy Roadmap

UK Renewable Energy Roadmap translation project consists of two parts: firstly,translate onshore wind sector and offshore wind sector in the UK Renewable EnergyRoadmap into Chinese; secondly, write a translation project report based on thetranslation process.Onshore wind sector and offshore wind sector, which are excerpts of the translationproject, introduce current deployment, deployment potential, deployment pipeline,journey to deployment, and challenges to deployment and policies of onshore windpower and offshore wind power in the UK, among which the polices are the focus.Therefore, this translation project belongs to the category of translation of political texts.In the translation project report, I will analyze briefly methods and skills of translation ofpolitical texts, according to the translation process.The translation project report consists of four chapters. The first chapter is theintroduction of the translation project, including its background, goal, significance andstructure of the report. The second chapter covers the introduction of the source text, andanalysis of the source text. In the third part, the report presents the difficulties in thetranslation process, the preparations done before translation and the translation strategies.The forth chapter concludes the enlightenments, lessons and unsolved problems in thetranslation process.
