| College students as the most valuable human resources for our country, therelated degree during the process of the growth of family education and occupationvalue orientation deserves more attention. This survey takes6universities in JilinProvince as a sample, starting from students point of view, to explore the relationshipbetween the occupation value orientation and the way of family education, and putsforward some effective measures to promote the employment of College students.First of all, the occupation value orientation is based on "College StudentsOccupation Value Orientation Questionnaire" which is compiled by the empiricalinvestigation team, and parenting uses "parenting style questionnaire" revised by thedomestic scholar Yue Dongmei, investigating students in Colleges and universities inJilin province with the method of field distribution and recovery.Secondly, analysing the data recovered, we find that: the occupation valueorientation of college students has significant difference in gender, discipline, there isno significant difference in grade, bornplace, only child, graduate whereabouts, workunit selection; college students’way of family education has significant difference ingrade, gender, bornplace, only child, parents’ educational level as well as parents’divorce while no significant difference in parental occupation; the occupation valueorientation of college students is related to the process of the growth of familyeducation and the latter has a predictive effect on the former.Third, we get the following conclusion: the occupation value orientation ofcontemporary college students has already begun to change, paying more attention tothe family affection and achievement; a positive state of parents in family educationhas been formed; parents’ emotional warmth and understanding has a significanteffect on College Students’ occupation value orientation,with the father’s warmth andunderstanding the strongest.Finally, this study presents effective suggestions and countermeasures on the basis of family, school, and individual, which can strengthens students’ self cognitionin order to improve the level of employment. |
