Music and language are closely related, so many teachers triedsinging songs to teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and claimed tohave achieved certain results. This paper thinks, songs can stimulateforeign learners interest in learning Chinese, but modern singingperformance in "words and music relationship" to "to the melody isheavy","with music paper" which makes the actual singing in Chinesephonology tune deformation, the voice of the students learning isextremely unfavorable, and based on the Chinese phonetic basis is "to theword sound cavity" characteristics of the China traditional poetrychanting, can not only avoid the shortcomings of modern song, but also tostrengthen the characteristics of Chinese speech, and can continue tomaintain the foreign students learning Chinese interest. So this paper triesto put forward the idea of poetry chanting auxiliary teaching Chinese as aforeign language, in order to improve the effect of music assistedteaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part: introduction to poetry chanting, discusses "theexpression according to the word" theory, the connotation and thecharacteristic of poetry, singing, poetry singing requirements.The second part: the poetry of singing and Chinese pronunciationrules, briefly from tonal rhyme, tone point of view on the poems ofsinging and Chinese pronunciation contact, finally shows the process andmethod of poetry chanting.The third part: poetry chanting assumption auxiliary teaching Chinese asa foreign language, the teaching design, teaching principle, methodcomprises the following steps.Finally, the poetry chanting summarizes ancillary phonetic teachingChinese as a foreign language, points out the deficiency of this study, putforward the teaching countermeasures.
