An Analysis Of Explicitation Of Logical Relations In The Chinese Translation Of An English Textbook

In the translation of the English textbook Psychology of Gender, thetranslator attempts to apply explicitation to the translation of logical relations. In thispaper, the author will analyze explicitation in the translation of logical relations bygiving some examples and explain why the translator chooses to explicitate the logicalrelations from three angles including cognition, stylistic features and the translationpurpose.
