The urban society is more transforming and the social structure is quickly differentiating in our country.The community has become the main place for people in their daily life, who is not only the basic unit and object of community management and services,but also the microcosmic epitome of the overall society.Community ideological and cultural construction fire develops in all parts of the country, at the same time, the problem is widespread, mainly manifested in the in sufficient participation,the sense of belonging to residents is not high, the allocation of resources is not uniform, service system is not perfect and the role conflict of community workers is caused by community workers.The old urban community ideological and cultural construction related to the overall harmonious development of our society,far-reaching,with the practical significance,also present with a focus of practical social problems.With the reform and opening up,income disparity between rich and poor gap growing,old urban housing shortage,outside the densely populated,and living environment has not been improved,these problem is widespread.This article content to the old urban community, community ideological and cultural concepts are expounded. Society ideological and cultural construction is an important part of community construction, is of great importance in the global community construction,both of them consider the principle "people oriented" as their value orientation.This study selects the "X" community in NanTong as an object,carry out empirical research.Combine with the field of the survey,to introduce the the "X" community ideological and cultural construction.Based on the analysis of questions,and summarizes the measures of solving.The author thinks that,in order to strengthen old urban community ideological and cultural construction,we should take the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as a guiding principle;rich community content and carrier of ideological and political work;improve community residents’ participation;to strengthen the construction of community ideological and cultural work full-time team.This paper utilizing many subject’s knowledge of the ideological and political education science,the sociology and so on,integrate and utilize the urban community culture resources.In this way,we can promote the development of the old urban community ideological and cultural construction healthily and orderly.
