Practice Study Report On E-C Translation Of Chapter 12 Of Cultural Anthropology:An Applied Perspective

This report is a research report on English-Chinese translation practice. Chapter 12 of the book Cultural Anthropology:An Applied Perspective, written by American anthropologist Gary P. Ferraro and Susan Andreatta, mainly discusses social stratification issues of Western society in sociology study. By choosing this text as translation task, the translator hopes that the results of this translation practice can help Chinese readers to understand historical origin and development of social stratification issues in Western society, and learn about social stratification theory. These conclusions represent the translation experience summarized by the translator through this translation practice, it can all the more guide the translator to produce better translation works in future translation practice.
