Among different kinds of complements, this article focuses on the result meaning of complex directional complements. Evidence supporting that the result meaning plays an important part among these functional meanings that directional complements have has gained general acceptance. The result meaning is not only related to time but also to space which makes it difficult for the learners, especially when it comes to complex directional complements. In Korean, there also exist some similar expressions which can express some orientation meanings, result meanings and status meanings to some extend. At present, most of the researches are about orientation meanings of directional complements including of acquisition process of those, but to the result meanings acquisition of Korean Chinese learners, especially to the complex directional complements, researches are extremely not enough.This paper compares these similar expressions in Korean with complex directional complements that contain result meanings in Chinese and tries to find more clues on the way how the Korean Chinese learners acquire the meanings and grammars of complex directional complements within the scope of result meaning with the contrastive analysis approach and questionnaire survey,I found out that the result meaning of complex directional complements is really hard for the Korean learners to acquire and their different kinds of errors can be summarized in confounding one complex directional complement with others, omitting complex directional complements, dislocating complex directional complements, omitting or misusing verbs,dislocating objectives, misusing Ba-constructions, misusing potential constructions, omitting or adding "le" and so on. In this paper I also try to explain the potential reasons why Korean learners make those errors and which can be concluded as the effect of directional complements itself, cross-language transfer, the effect of teachers and textbooks and so on. At the end I try to put forward some useful suggestions on teaching the meanings and grammars of complex directional complements within the scope of result meaning.
