The Research Of Polysyllabic Word In The Famous Paintings In Previous Ages

“The famous paintings in Previous ages” is the first book of systematically studying the theory of painting in the history. It not only narrative of the development of Chinese painting history, but also all the painting fields in the flourishing Tang Dynasty were unseen to the world. Therefore, the language in the “the famous paintings in Previous ages” has distinct areas and times peculiarity, the polysyllabic word in this book has distinctive characteristics.The research of polysyllabic word in this book can broaden the vocabulary study, and thus more able to improve the development of vocabulary. In this article, based on the reference for the vocabulary research on specific books by the predecessor, regards the book as a closed corpus system and researches on all the types as much as possible. via the comprehensive description of “the famous paintings in Previous ages”, strive to analyze the characteristics of semantic structure and on the part of speech, so as to explore the characteristics of the polysyllabic word and the general law of development in the medieval times.The full text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction that is a brief introduction to author and the procedure of the book, meanwhile analysis of the book value and the research status quot, explain why choose this subject for research. Finally the classified methods of polysyllabic word are illustrated in this paper. The second chapter mainly describes the classification and characteristics of polysyllabic word. The fourth chapter is the conclusion part, through the above analysis, based on the concluded characteristics of the polysyllabic word in this book to explore the peculiarities in the medieval times.
