Context, it refers to environment which language is used. In the narrow sense, it is the connecting speaking sentences, it is the context when is written something, its’ focused target is the lansign speech context or flow context; in the generalized sense, it is the language objective and subjective situation, it also is the rhetoric context and situational context.Linguistic context is the detail can be seen, it connects with teaching closely, it cannot be ignored in the teaching language as foreign language. However, for the non-linguistic context,it is also called extra-linguistic context, the situational context and background context are included, it also can help student understand the listening content, and use the key words in the different language context. Thus, the language environment is applied in listening teaching for foreigners, and the seamless docking is achieved, the international students can overcome listening problem, in the way, it can help the international student understand Chinese deeply and accurately. However, under guidance of context theory, it can better serve for teaching, in the intermediate Chinese listening teaching for foreigners, the context theory must follow the following principles: authenticity principle, interactive principle and simplicity principle. Moreover, four stages need to be focused in the whole teaching period,namely, hearing preparation stage, the warm-up phase, listening comprehension stage, and listening training. At the hearing preparation stage, the teacher must prepare the program planning, all the teaching facility, and understand the teaching object, the effective teaching can be reached through fully preparation. At the warm-up phase, teacher make full use of guide-link to establish background for students, making use of the known information to forecast the unknown information, using the context smartly to resolve the unknown words problem. At the listening comprehension stage, learning to grasp the key words and the essay structure to discriminate the pronunciation and intonation, vocabulary and semantics,overcoming the barrier which is happened in the listening period, and then understand the whole essay. In the listening training, teacher need make use of the context to create different language environment, providing more practice opportunity for student listening training, and make sure the effectiveness in the teaching period.In this paper, the first part has three sub-titles, the first one is the introduction, it refers to reasons for selecting topic and significance, overseas and domestic research status, in addition,the research object and methods which are used in this paper will also be included. The second part is the main body, the most important part. Focus from present situation investigation of intermediate Chinese as a foreign language listening teaching, the context theory of docking with the intermediate listening teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,context theory in the application of intermediate listening teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Those three parts spread out the discussion. The third part is the conclusion, it is thewhole essay summary: the context theory is applied in listening teaching, the international students can use the Chinese in different language environment, improving the Chinese learning efficiency, and achieve the Chinese as foreign language teaching target.
