In the stage of Junior High School, the physical and mental develop of individuals are very unbalanced, and this phase is also a key turning point in junior high school students`studying. Because of the higher study pressure, the drop-out phenomenon is among these teenagers, whose performance are losing interesting on study, depressed, and so on. The degree of learning burnout is more seriously especially in junior high school students, due to the fact that their parents are far away from them which contribute to the lack of love and care from their parents.Firstly, to get the knowledge of the phenomenon about the learning burnout among middle school students, this study investigate the degree of learning burnout in two middle schools in Zhumadian City, Henan Province. Making group counseling for the 25 left-behind middle school students focuses on learning burnout. This group counseling last 2 months,totally made for 8 times, in order to decrease the degree of learning burnout of left-behind middle school students. The research results are as follows:1. In the score of learning burnout degree and the dimension of emotional exhaustion, leftbehind students are higher than non-left-behind students in junior high schools.2. Gender difference exists in learning burnout degree, boys are more serious than girls;The only child is higher than the non-only child, especially in the dimension of alienation between teachers and students.3. Students who live in urban are higher than who live in rural in the degree of learning burnout, especially in the dimension of emotional exhaustion.4. There is an obviously difference in the dimension of satisfying with current life, one factor of learning burnout degree. The students who are unsatisfied with their current lives are higher than who are satisfied in the degree of learning burnout.5. For left-behind junior high school students, in the degree of learning burnout, Grade influences the degree of learning burnout, the higher grade, the more learning burnout;The rank in the class also impacts on the degree of learning burnout.6. If parents all go out, the degree of learning burnout of their children is highest, especially in the dimension of emotional exhaustion.;The father`s culture degree influences the learning burnout degree, while mother`s doesnot matter.7. Group counseling can decrease the degree of learning burnout obviously among junior highschool students.
