The extensive and profound Chinese culture has aroused numerous foreigners’ interest and love in Chinese learning,and more and more foreigners begin to learn Chinese.If they choose a suitable textbook,they will get twice the result with half the effort in the process of learning Chinese.Therefore,the comparative study of different TCFL textbooks is also on the agenda.But most of the comparative studies choose the teaching materials with high frequency,such as “new practical Chinese textbook” and “experience Chinese”.However,the demand for short-term Chinese learning is increasing among the overseas students in China.These overseas students who come to China for short-term rapid development of oral Chinese need a suitable textbook as an auxiliary to achieve the purpose of simple communication with oral Chinese in the short term.Therefore,this paper chooses two short-term rapid development of oral Chinese Materials were compared.In addition to considering the content,arrangement,difficulty and scope of application of the textbook,the setting of exercises in the textbook is also an important part that can not be ignored.To sum up,this paper selects two fast-paced textbooks for oral Chinese as the research object,which are suitable for the primary stage,“Short-term Spoken Chinese” and“Conversational Chinese 301”.Through the comparative study of the practice parts of the two textbooks,this paper compares the different settings of the practice parts of the two textbooks,so as to draw some conclusions and reflections.The thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter will elaborate the theoretical basis and principles of exercise design,and clarify the basis and principles that each TCFL textbook should follow according to the theory;the second chapter is a comparative study on the amount of exercises in the two textbooks,and analyzes the intensity of exercises in the textbooks;the third chapter is a comparative study on the types of exercises in the two textbooks,aiming to pass the through the comparative analysis of the types of questions,frequency of use,common questions and special questions,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to choose the types ofquestions in this type of teaching materials.Chapter four aims at the comparison of the two teaching materials’ practice contents,and explores how to set up corresponding basic exercises or extended exercises for different learning contents,As well as the statistical and comparative research on the matching degree of each lesson practice and the topic of the lesson in the two textbooks;The fifth chapter gives the corresponding suggestions for the compilation and teaching of the practice part of the textbook;the sixth chapter summarizes and summarizes the research results of this paper.It is hoped that through the comparative study of this paper,it can provide feasible suggestions for the preparation of the practice part of the short-term intensive oral Chinese teaching materials for TCFL and even for the teachers how to properly use the practice in the teaching materials.
