Homework Research Of American Short-term Reinforcement Chinese Proerams In China

With the development of Chinese teaching career,more and more foreigners have come to China to learn Chinese.Many of the Chinese short-term training programs,operated by American Ivy League and Chinese famous university,are showing the good momentum of development.These summer short-term training programs use limited time,adopt the Chinese Teaching Mode of Middlebury College,and adhere to the teaching idea of Middlebury Mode through all kinds of methods of strengthening,in order to achieve the objectives of the short-term crash.At present,many scholars have conducted in-depth research about teaching mode,teaching methods,management mode,teaching idea and so on.However,the research about homework in Middlebury Mode is still in the blank.So this dissertation focuses on homework,summarizes the features and situation of homework,thus it has the great theoretical and practical significances.This dissertation,aiming at the homework link of the Middlebury Mode,basing on the Capital Normal University's CET Project,has carried out the following work:used the questionnaire survey and interview,found out homework's features and situation,analyzed homework's advantages and deficiencies,and finally gave some proper suggestions for Chinese conventional teaching.This thesis tried to summarize the idea and features of homework link:large quantity of homework;attaching great importance to the language structure;implementing the teaching idea;the complete homework structure and rich types;the great effectiveness;the strict homework enforce and monitoring system.Besides,the homework link cooperated with other links of teaching process very well,and played a valuable role and function.What's more,this thesis gave suggestions on quantity,difficulty,effectiveness,structure,types and management of homework link,aiming at the Chinese conventional teaching,and hoped to improve students' comprehensive ability.
