Career adaptability is a harmonious relationship between college students and society and their jobs.And the strong career adaptability could make college students be fitting into the society more better and adapting into the social environment easily.As an important indicator of career development,this adaptability would be influenced by a number of factors.The survey in this article is selecting 933 higher vocational students in the region of Chongqing and Sichuan province as the research objects,it carry on this analysis by using the scales of initiative personality questionnaire,career obstacles perception questionnaire and career adaptability questionnaire,and statistics software named SPSS20.0.This survey explores the action mechanism of career adaptability produced by the proactive personality and the perceived career barriers,and it reveals the relationship between these three elements.At the same time,this survey intervenes the students of a vocational college in Sichuan province in their career guidance,and hopes to provide reference for the career guidance of education in vocational college.The results are as following:(1)The present situation of the higher vocational school career education: Schools are paying more and more attention to the career education,and carrying out the career guidance curriculum and related lectures.However,in most cases,it has become a mere formality and not has a better effect.And schools does not have professional career education teachers,the lectures is usually a instructor part-time teaching.And it also teaches in the form of lecturing,which is so monotonous and unsatisfactory.And there was no investigation and analysis of students' career confusion and needs before classes,so that the courses were not targeted and there was no need for students.(2)The career development status of higher vocational students:Students are lack of initiative and exploration spirits,and the higher the grade is,the less initiative is.And it is also so easy to be influenced by the factors of career obstacles that producing the fears.And their careers adaptive is not strong enough so that their abilities of exploration and adjusting is so weak.(3)The result from demographic variables analysis shows that higher vocational college students career obstacles and other factors are different from their genders,grades,professional consciousness,whether the single child,home address,family types,degrees of parents' culture and other influences.And they are also having obvious differences in their the grades,the majors,the only,and the degrees between the total and the other dimensions.Proactive personality only has significant difference in grade.(4)There is a significant negative correlation between proactive personality and career obstacle perception.And it has a obviously negative correlation between the various dimensions of career obstacle perception and the career adaptability.Proactive personality can positively predict career resilience and have the perceptual prediction through career career resilience.And career obstacles perception play a partial intermediary role in the proactive personality influence produced by the career obstacles perception.(5)Career education coaching has obvious effect on improving students' career adaptability.Career education group counseling is an effective and practical intervention method.
