Objectives:To study the relationship between senior college graduates'proactive personality,psychological capital and career adaptability,and prove the mediating effects of psychological capital,so as to provide theoretical supports for the improvement of senior college graduates'career adaptability.Methods:647 senior college graduates from Changsha,Lanzhou and Xi'an were surveyed by the proactive personality scale,the psychological capital scale and the career adaptability scale.Results:(1)The level of senior college graduates' proactive personality is high,and the psychological capital and career adaptability are in the middle level.(2)Senior college graduates' career adaptability is significantly different in terms of gender and parental rearing styles,but there were no significant differences in terms of the major?the place of birth?and the only child.(3)There was a positive correlation between college students' proactive personality,psychological capital and career adaptability.(4)Senior college graduates' proactive personality has a significant positive predictive effect on psychological capital;senior college graduates' psychological capital has a significant positive predictive effect on career resilience;senior college graduates' proactive personality has a significant positive predictive effect on career adaptability.(5)Senior college graduates' psychological capital plays a complete intermediary role between proactive personality and career adaptability.Conclusion:(1)Senior college graduates' gender and parental rearing styles can significantly affect their career adaptability,but the influences of profession,family origin and only child on career adaptability is not significant.(2)The initiative personality of senior college graduates can significantly positively predict psychological capital and career adaptability.(3)The psychological capital of college senior graduates can significantly predict the career adaptability.(4)Senior college graduates'initiative personality influences their career adaptability through psychological capital.Psychological capital is one of the key factors for college students' active personality to play a positive role in their career adaptability.This shows that if an active personality senior college graduates wants to get the improvement of career adaptability,he must have a positive mental state and have a positive and correct cognition and attribution to his career environment.
