Study On The Linguistic Art Of Chen Jingrong’s Poetry

Compared to another two members, Mu Dan and Zheng Min, the research on the important member of’nine leaves poetry’, Chen Jingrong,is not concerned enough. This paper attempts to take the language as the starting point to explore the characteristics of poetry Written by Chen. The paper tries to investigate the language arts of her poetry from three aspects——strangeness and familiarity coexist,form and rhythm,the interaction of emotional and intellectual.Chapter one is an analysis of the strangeness and familiarity coexist characteristics of Chen’s poetry. This section focuses on the poet’s poetic language, which as opposed to the scientific language, dissimilar but closely linked to the daily language. Her poetic language has the coexist characteristics of strangeness and familiarity. On the one hand, the poet is influenced by traditional Chinese poetry,often using classical poetry words into poetry, plus overlapping words and complex techniques such as the use of speech, makes her poetry has a special closeness between. On the other hand, Western modernist poetry also has a deep impact on her poetry, such as the juxtaposition of contradictory words,the combination of abstract and concrete words and using language in dramatic way, which helps her poetry win a linguistic tension. Chen’s poetic language has a classical and modern language inter-related characteristic.Chapter two has discussed the rhythm of Chen’s poetic language. This section discusses the language art of her poetry from the perspective of rhythm. Including three aspects:First, analysis of the poetic language in the form of rhythm, the poet’s poetic language rich in appearance:beautiful appearance, smooth co-phonology. Chen’s poetic language has rich and diverse forms of visual rhythm, mainly reflected in paragraphs symmetrical, interbank blank to use, in the form of separate segments, between paragraphs verse has increasing or decreasing trends in other aspects. In addition, her poetic language also focus on the pursuit of voice-paced auditory, and stress the relative relationships and composition relationships sound and tone, that the pursuit of poetic rhythm of music features, mainly in rhyming forms, alliteration and vowel rhyme and emphasis on syllable-pause and so on. The second is the inherent rhythm of her poetic language, which has intrinsically emotional rhythm and sense of rhythm. Third, the inner rhythm is harmony with the outside rhythm.It is reflected on the harmony between emotional rhythm and tempo of speech coordination, sense of rhythm and tempo of intermediation auditory, visual and auditory rhythm and sense of rhythm between forms.Chen not only pursuit the harmony within the language of poetry rhythm and rhythm outside financing, but also the pursuit of a holistic rhythm beauty.Chapter three has expounded the interaction between emotional and intellectual of Chen’s poetry. It has three points:The first one is about emotional experience,analyzing the experiential features of her language. Chen often use poetry to express her emotional experience of the realistic life, especially the early poems, this feature is particularly prominent. Second, intellectual philosophy, the poet will set in deep thought condensate unique imagery vocabulary, which makes her poetic language contains an inherent rationality depth. The third one is the interaction of emotional and intellectual,Chen conveys insights and experience on life, but the experience is intellectual experience through sublimation later.Intellectual experience is mainly manifested in the following areas:understanding and reflection on the self, understanding of the universe life and meditation, the feeling of creation, a vision of light and so on. In addition, the poet uses some special performance strategies, such as far metaphor, defamiliarization, symbolism and metaphysical thoughts,to achieve the effect of strengthening the intellectual poetic language.
