With the developing of the second language teaching theory, the new teaching approach named functional approach has appeared. The functional approach combines structure and culture with function, and it leads an important way to Teaching Chinese as a Second Language theory. This paper makes a study about four different types of expression about "complain", and analysis these four expression from three angles which are grammar, semantics and pragmatic. Also, I summarized the common errors that students made, try to solve those errors in specific contents. Meanwhile, this paper will give suggestions to classes of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.
