Function method argues that the starting point of the whole teaching activities of language communication functions,emphasis on language teaching to meet the needs of students' communication,and Cultivating students' communicative competence is the ultimate goal of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the idea and purpose nearly the same.This article selects the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language "apology" project as the research object.the paper based on the core vocabulary item of apology is divided into five categories.It is studied from three aspects:form,expressive and pragmatics.combined with international students in the learning process prone to errors,find out the cause of the errors,put forward the corresponding teaching countermeasures,to reduce barriers in cross-cultural communication,also in order to provide certain reference for the teaching.divided into four characters,the first part of my paper is mainly discusses the meaning of the function and functional items,the rationality of the reaserch on functional items in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and research status of the project,based on the core vocabulary items of apology,the Chinese "apology" functional items are divided into five main ways of expression.The second part is a special study,which examines the five main ways of expression of apology from the perspectives of form,semantics and pragmatics,and finds out the reasons and gives corresponding teaching Suggestions based on the errors that international students are prone to.The third part is a horizontal comparison of the five expression modes of "apology" functional items,mainly from the syntactic format,semantic function and pragmatic value of the five types of apology to compare their similarities and differences.The last part is a summary and reflection of the whole paper,summarizing the characteristics of the five types of apology expression,and pointing out the incompleteness of this study.
