Task-based Language Teaching Method,which came into being in the 1980 s,is a kind of teaching method that emphasizes learners learning by doing.With the influence of Input and Interaction Hypothesis Theory and Constructivism Theory,Task-based Language Teaching Method takes learners as the center,thinks highly of the functionality of language,and requires learners to complete the self-construction of language knowledge by completing various tasks on the premise of activating language knowledge.Task-based Language Teaching Method requires teachers to meticulously design tasks to provide learners with scenarios and opportunities for language learning,and guide learners to complete the construction of language knowledge in the process of task interaction.This article is based on the Task-based language Teaching Method and takes Are There Any Vacant Rooms as an example to design the elementary Oral Chinese class in Thailand.The paper combines the theoretical requirements of teaching design with the practical basis of teaching implementation,follows the teaching mode of Task-based Language Teaching Method and the requirements of task design,and shows a string of teaching process of primary Oral Chinese with the guidance of Task-based Language Teaching Method.The content of this design includes the following five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This paper mainly introduces the research background and significance,research ideas and methods of this design,and sorts out the research status of teaching design,Task-based Language Teaching Method and oral Chinese at home and abroad.The second chapter is an overview of Task-based Language Teaching Method.The first part introduces the content of TASK,including definition,classification and constituent elements.The second part discusses the special teaching mode of Task-based Language Teaching Method: Pre-task,Task Cycle and Language Focus.The third part is to analyze the 6 teaching principles of this teaching method.The third chapter is the teaching design of Are There Any Vacant Rooms.The first part carries on the front-end analysis of teaching design,including teaching objects,teaching materials and lesson types.The second part is the overall teaching design,including analysis of task design and analysis of relevant elements of teaching design.The third part shows the teaching process of Are There Any Vacant Rooms for three classes.The fourth chapter is teaching evaluation and reflection.After the implementation of the teaching,according to the feedback of the questionnaire filled in by the learners and the observation of the teacher in the class,the teaching activities are evaluated and reflected.And practical suggestions are given for the problems in the teaching practice.The last is the conclusion.This part is a summary statement of the whole teaching design research.
