Research On Application Of TV Program In Chinese Converastion Class As A Foreign Language

Nowadays,more and more Chinese teachers for foreigners have already begun to use a number of films and television programs in the process of teaching Chinese. Considering the TV program plays an important role in films and television programs, it has its own advantages. Combined my experience of one-year internship as a Chinese teacher in Confucius Institute Munich,J started to thinking and researching about the way we can apply the TV program to the Chinese conversation class.About why I start to research this topic, there are four main reasons. First, this whole paper would be the summary of my one-year internship. Second, it is not some kind of news to use the films and television programs in foreign language teaching. But when we speak of to apply the TV programs in the Chinese conversation class,it is still very new field. So I hope through this paper can fill some blanks in this related fields.Third,now there are a lot of different kinds of TV programs in Chinese mainland.But the level of them are quiet uneven.So I hope through my research I could provide some suggestions about how to pick the appropriate TV program. Fourth, I also want to provide some suggestions about how to apply the TV programs in the real conversation class situation.There are so many advantages when TCSL teachers apply the TV program to the conversation class. I will give some example.for instance,"You are the one"、"Make progresses every day"、" Dad where going"、" find my job"to illustrate some advantages.First,when teacher apply TV program to Chinese conversation class,the linguistic style are very diverse and various.Second,it couid create more Chinese environment.Third, the proves of learning Chinese with the TV program is very relax and delightful.Fourth,those TV programs also reveal Chinese traditional cultures and modern Chinese cultures.Fifth,TV program can provide a lot of different topics.Last,learning Chinese by the TV program could give trainings of listening,reading,speaking and writing.During my researching process, I mainly use four different researching methcds,namely Literature review method, experiential summary method, case analysis method and questionnaire method. By the questionnaire survey we can find out Chinese learner who have the high level that they are glad to learn Chinese by the TV program,and they also think it will help them to improve their oral Chinese.They also want to proceed to learn oral Chinese by the TV program. Those results are my main motive to do my research.
