Research On The Theory Of Polyphonic Novel

The research on focused on Polyphonic Novel’s Art form, for example, Discourse analysis and synchronic structure, but lacked the research on Bakhtin’ theory. So we will study Bakhtin’ theory deeply to find the foundation of Polyphonic Novel. Because of the Injection of Bakhtin’ theory,we find the crack between Dostoevsky’ novel and Bakhtin’ Polyphonic theory. Our goal is to figure out the relationship of Dostoevsky’ novel’ form and Bakhtin’ theory,so we trace back to Polyphonic Novel’historical context. As for synchronic structure, we find the reason from Dostoevsky’ Life experience and carnival theory,we make comment on synchronic structure:amazing capacity of art, esthetical defect.The meaning of thought can not be revealed clearly,our work is conducted on two aspects:firstly, in art form, thought is the essential factor of Polyphonic Novel, it can break through Monologue novel’ boundary line; secondly, on the ontological significance, thought is not just thought,also is considered as problems into reality, we will find out thought’ ontological significance,just as problem. We explain the relationship of author and hero with Bakhtin’ theory; As to Polyphonic Novel’s Art form, we see Polyphonic Novel’s creativity,also we find monologue novel’s complementarity;as to the significance of the polyphonic thinking, we will interpret the meaning of dialogism to the construction of literary theory.
