Psychological capital was a kind of core psychological element which could promote individual positive behavior, individual growth and self-actualization. Meanwhile, it had considerable realistic significance to groups and organizations to maintain development vitality and competitive edge. This study took postgraduates in a comprehensive military university as subjects and did some investigations on their psychological capital. A literature review was made firstly. Then a qualitative research was made. After that, the Military University Postgraduates' Psychological Capital Questionnaire was developed. We explored the status and differences of military university postgraduates' psychological capital, and also the relationship in psychological capital, individual innovative behavior, mentor supporting leadership, controlling leadership and organizational innovative climate. Finally, some advice was put forward to develop military university postgraduates' psychological capital.The study gained the following results:(1) military university postgraduates' psychological capital contained five dimensions: curiosity, resilience, self-confidence, independence, and enterprise; the mentor's instruction, organizational innovative climate, ideological and political education were main factors which influenced military university postgraduates' psychological capital;(2) the questionnaire had good reliability and validity;(3) the scores of psychological capital were generally above average. The general state was positive. The psychological capital and its some dimensions differed in some demographic variables;(4) mentor supporting leadership, controlling leadership and organizational innovative climate all could positively predict psychological capital; psychological capital partially mediated the positive influence controlling leadership on innovative behavior, and completely mediated the positively influence supporting leadership on innovative behavior, as well as organizational innovative climate on innovative behavior; psychological capital played a completely mediating role in the moderating effect of organizational innovative climate on controlling leadership to innovative behavior, as well as supporting leadership to innovative behavior;(5) the psychological capital of military university postgraduates could be developed through optimizing the content structure, improving mentors' leadership, building dense innovative climate and strengthening ideological and political education.
