As one of the Chinese sentence patterns which have the high usingfrequency in the dairy life and also a very important sentence of Chineseforeign teaching,“Shi de” is the focus and difficulty during theteaching. In the syllabus this sentence is also an important sentencestructure and the grammatical items of it is distributed in the variousstages of education. When Thai students acquired this sentence pattern,they always made errors. There is little research about the situationwhich should focus on the Thai students’errorsin the related researchresults.Therefore,this article will analysis the errors based on thelearning of the Thai students studying the sentence patterns in order tohelp the related teaching activities.The first chapter is the introduction part elaborating the origin ofthe topic, research scope, research ideas and the source of corpus.The second chapter is elaborating research status of the “shi...de”and summing upthe ontology research of this sentence pattern, relatedresearch results of the errors,and a view of the present situation ofThailand students’ study of Chinese process error study.The third chapter is base on the past research comparing the twodifferent ways of the “shi de” sentence and analyzing the situation.The types of the main errors are omission error that is the most common,overrepresentation error, ill-ordering and mistake addition.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the reason of errors which happenedwhen the Thai students use the “shi...de”sentence pattern. Thecomplexity of the sentence itself is one of the reasons, and the othersreasons may be the effect of negative transfer of mother tongue, negativetransfer of target language, lack of pragmatic knowledge, learningstrategies and communication strategies. And at the same time there are effect from the language learning environment and language environment.The fifth chapter is proposing the teaching strategies of theThaistudents’ study of “shi...de” which based on the summary analysis ofthe above. First of all is to strengthen the research on ontology of thesentence and to make the related rules of grammar and usage conditionsclear.Secondly, according to the Thailand students errors, improveteaching methods focus on comparison of correct and error and detailedteaching and more exercises. Thirdly, pay attention to the order of“shi......de”sentence and adjust the grammar in project teachingarrangement. Finally, also pay attention to strengthen the sense oflanguage teaching for students.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part, a summary of the full text,and the explanations of shortcomings in the study.
