“Shi...... de” sentence pattern is a very important and controversial one in modern Chinese. While in TCFL, “shi……de”sentence pattern has been important and difficult for Chinese teachers and overseas students. This is the significance of the article.Firstly, the author summarized “shi……de” sentence pattern, including aspects of body research and aspects of error research, and concluded eight categories and two grammatical meanings of “shi...... de” sentence pattern.Then, following the logical thinking process of “what, why, and how”, based on Beijing Language and Culture University HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus, the author classified the six types of errors: omissions errors, sequence errors, the negative form of “shi......de” sentence pattern, misuse errors of “shi...de” sentence pattern and other sentences, pragmatic errors, the oversimple intermediate components of “shi......de” sentence pattern or the incorrect form; the author also analyzed the causes of errors: the negative transfer of mother tongue, generalization of the target language rules, the impact of misleading language interpretation and communication strategies; with that, the author tried to propose the teaching strategies and suggestions of “shi......de” sentence pattern from the view of of content arrangement of textbooks, teaching stragegies of teachers and learning strategies of overseas students.In conclusion, the author summarized the whole aricle, and pointed out the limitations of the article.
