The Classification of modal particles is a very important part in modern Chinesefunction words, essentially in grammatical meaning and the expression of the emotion.Different modal particles using results in different semantic expressions."Ba" playsan important role in study of modal particles of Chinese foreign language teachingbecause of its high frequency, however, researches merely focused on the overallstudy of modal particles without detailed study on the acquisitions of “Ba” by foreignstudents, which needs to be constantly refined.In this article, English-speaking learners served as the research objects and240cases of the original sentence for corpus of modal particles were selected to analyzefrom HSK dynamic composition corpus. In addition, combined with my ownempirical analysis and analysis as well as summarizations from existing researchresults of modal particles, classification of “Ba” as well as summarizations ofteaching strategy were made, hoping to provide certain reference for future researchesof related areas.The innovations of this article are expressed in the following three aspects:1. The research objects of this article are learners whose mother tongue isEnglish in order to present the country differences during the research, which is inaccordance of current education principle, which is “lead foreign language educationinto detail”. Because of the lack of obvious characteristics of modal particles, theEnglish-speaking learners simply by using word order and tone to emphasize, whichresults in a large number of errors of the modal particles in the learning process. Atpresent, some scholars have begun to study on South Korea and Japan students formodal particles learning, but the study of mother tongue for English learners stillremains relatively small.2. Qualitative analysis and empirical analysis research methods are used togetherin research. In the process of thesis research, summarized analysis examples with140 typical mistakes comes from2363primitive data in HSK dynamic compositioncorpus. By the method of the questionnaire, the article summarized the types andcharacteristics of the modal particles "Ba". In combination with errors in reason thaton the basis of the author from the textbook and teaching method etc. Somesuggestions were given emphasizing the psychological and emotional aspects ofidentity.3. The research of education strategy mainly emphasizes on the interpretation ofthe semantic analysis. Starting from the "action, know, speak" three fields, modalparticles "Ba” serves as the emergence of" new action ", the emergence of"knowledge" and the emergence of the "new words", represented as "action","knowledge" and "talk" respectively.
