Abstract:Ali-Farabi Confucius Institute (i.e. the Confucius Institute Kazakh University for Nationalities) was founded by Kazakhstan University for Nationalities, associated with Lanzhou University in2007. The teachers ability of this institute, teaching hardware, etc. are at the forefront of Chinese language teaching in Kazakhstan.This Papers selected this institute as a research model, took examples from student learning kanji errors in my practice during the school’s investigation, analyzed the typical problems of Kazakhstan students in learning Chinese characters appearing in the process. This paper is divided into five parts, the introduction part of this thesis describes the current situation and the relevant research, research content and methods. The second chapter introduces Ali-Farabi Confucius Institute teaching situation and the basic situation of Chinese characters. The third part is to analyze the errors in Ali-Farabi Confucius Institute students learning Chinese characters, which includesthe overview of the basic types of errors and the causes of errors. Part IV presents Ali-Farabi Confucius Institute of Chinese characters teaching strategies, teaching strategies specific kanji characters on the basis of students’ learning situation analysis, in order to help students overcome the bias. The hopes and suggestions to the future’s teaching research are put forward at Chapter V.
