Under the background of the continuing rise of international Chinese language education,Kazakhstan is also learning more and more people.However,there is little research on the Chinese language teaching in Kazakhstan in the academic circles.There is not much known about the status quo of its teaching,especially the"short board" in Chinese teaching-the teaching of Chinese characters.What is the status quo?What are the problems?Few studies and contacts are involved.Even in Kazakhstan,this issue is a "blind spot" for research.In this project,through field visits and investigations,the Confucius Institute at the Chubanov National University,the most representative of Kazakhstan's Chinese language teaching,was selected as the investigation point.The method of questionnaire survey was used to teach the Chinese character of the College.In particular,a detailed and detailed investigation was conducted on the learning of students' Chinese characters,and first-hand materials were mastered.Based on the statistics and analysis,the students were classified into seven aspects:shape,strokes,memory,review,application,induction,and sound and meaning.Learning strategies,analyzing and studying the existing problems and causes,providing targeted solutions to the problems and countermeasures,analysis and research based on students' learning problems,but also involving teachers' teaching methods,because teaching and learning are closely related We must not unilaterally examine the analysis in isolation.Finally,according to the investigation results and the facts of the field visits,combined with their own experience and thinking in learning Chinese characters,the author proposes the concepts and propositions of adopting and popularizing the "character-based" teaching method in teaching Chinese characters to foreigners for reference by the academic community.
