| This essay is an analysis report on the application of ITOT (Interpretative Theory ofTranslation)to the interpretation for business negotiation based on the materials of theauthor’s internships and relevant documents The report is composed of five parts. The firstpart is an introduction to the background and purpose of the report. The second part brieflyreviews the related theories of interpretation, and then gives an in-depth discussion on ITOT.The third part illuminates the interpretation for business negotiation in the form of paralleledtexts with respect to word translation and sentence translation. The fourth part analyzes thedifficulties in the interpretation for business negotiation and provides solutions to them. Thelast part reflects on the lessons and experience drawn from the practical interpretation. |
